Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aido in great form against Hartlepool with a goal and he ran the show. Let's hope he plays against Oxford on Saturday.

Speculation that SAFC are going to make 7/8 changes tonight.

I'd be happy with that not interested in the cups this season we have got to focus on getting out of this league.

Hopefully last night's win can be the catalyst to kick start our league form.

What inspired you to support Sunderland? My Dad! He was a massive Charlie Hurley fan growing up as a kid and he had me kitted out in Sunderland gear as soon as I kicked a ball!

The takeover sounds promising but I'm not counting any chickens just yet!

Five league and cup wins in a row after last night hope we can keep it going at Peterborough on Saturday.

Lot of speculation that the takeover of SAFC will be confirmed soon.

    Here's hoping.

SAFC Keroche looking for Sunderland fans to sponsor players or just make a donation for the new season to help them survive financially details on their FB page.

    A very worthy cause.

Be sad to see this fantastic club fold.

    SAFC Keroche

We have received the following letter from the FKF (Football Kenya Federation)

    Morning Hon members,
Hope every club here received a letter from secretary general Oruko.
The letter was clear on the league registration dateline as 5/10/19.
We will be having clubs meeting on 12/10/19 and only paid up clubs will be invited and allowed in the clubs meeting.
Our league has been scheduled to kickoff on 20/10/19.
Clubs will receive fixtures on 13/10/19 and those with part payment will not be included in the fixtures.

NOTE that those who will have not paid by 5/10/19 will be replaced with other standby clubs on merit.

Once again thanks for your continued cooperation.

Anyone fancy sponsoring a player or making a donation?

Looks like SAFC Keroche have secured enough funds to keep going to the half way point of the fotthcoming new season.

    The shirts look qualit too.

COULD THIS BE THE XMAS PRESENT YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ?
As we have had numerous requests from our UK fans, to purchase SAFC KEROCHE shirts, we have decided to go ahead and do this as a way of raising funds, for our team and academy.
    ...
Anyone wishing to order a shirt should contact our UK president GARY LAMB on UK mobile number: 07880732078. Gary can give you payment details and get your contact details. (Or see below)
Prices for all sizes from SMALL to XXXL are £35 + £3.50p&p
The pictures show some of our players wearing our new home shirt.
Our team crest is sewn into the shirt, (See picture) and it bears our home shirt sponsors logo which is TOTAL SPORTS N-E.
Please note: Shirts will only be ordered once payment is completed via a bank transfer.
Here are the easy steps of how to order
1, Make a bank transfer for the correct amount to the following:
    Lloyds Bank
    Account name: SAFC KEROCHE
    Account number: 25602160
    Sort Code: 30-95-96
or if you don't have the means to do an online transfer and prefer to pay by cheque contact Gary on the above number.
    2) After payment text or call Gary, with the shirt size you require, plus your name and address to post your shirt.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
You may ask why it takes 3-4 weeks, well our funds don't give us the opportunity to buy stock in advance, so once you place your order we have to order your shirt, then once it arrives, we need to take it to our shirt sponsors to have our crest and sponsors logo added.
Most shirts will only take 2-3 weeks, but we are trying to play safe, so we don't disappoint anyone. All the work is done in the UK, and if you prefer to save on the P&P you can collect in person from Gary in Seaham.

The departure of Ross whilst inevitable in this world of social media it was sad to see him go.

An honorable man who gave his best in difficult circumstances.

The best of luck to him in his future career.

Rumours that this is the short list for the new SAFC manager.

    Paul Cook
    Mark Robins
    Nigel Clough

Phil Parkinson has got the job hardly an inspiring choice but I'll back him as every Sunderland manager should be supported from the start.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

    Massive match tonight v Tranmere.

Wyke injured and Aido is suspended.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

Sunderland dominated large parts of the Shrewsbury game hitting the woodwork three times and having a good peno shout. However the final ball and finishing was not good enough.

People going OTT about recent cup results.

Its the league that Parkinson should be judged on.

Sunderland being linked with a move for Paddy Madden in the January window.

I suppose it would stop him scoring against us!

Clueless Parkinson going for a point at Gillingham!!

    Terrible appointment.

Liam Kelly being linked with a move to Sunderland his move to Holland hasn't worked out.

Season is going down the drain. Manager was a terrible appointment. Detremental to the team. Weve been brutal lately. Why is he forcing our best player our the door?

    Nail on the head.

I'm not impressed with SAFC going for Lafferty and Madine both not prolific goal scorers and carry baggage.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

Excellent display v Wycombe now we've got to keep it going.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

Today is such an important match MK Don's record against the top sides is very good so we need to be on our game .

Carry on with our recent form and hopefully we should be okay.

That said this is Sunderland we are talking about!!

Huge win yesterday and on their second half display Sunderland deserved it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

Another massive win for Sunderland yesterday. Not a vintage display but the bottom line is we got the three points.

Mcgeady must have been the bad egg in that team?? They are on some run at the moment, keeping things tight at the back. Trophies are won off a solid defence

Aido was quality last season scoring 16 goals perhaps it's more a case of he didn't fit into Parkinson's system. Fair play to Parky for turning it around but still s long way to go.

Another huge win on Saturday and well deserved.

Vital that SAFC win tomorrow against Fleetwood with Coventry playing Rotherham the same night.

Latest rumours former player Paul Bracewell is leading a consortium to buy SAFC?

I hope these rumours about Ben Alnwick returning are unfounded.

Its gone very quiet on the takeover front.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

I realise it was only the EFL trophy but eight goals has got to do the players confidence some good for the start of the season.

    Good finish from Aiden O'Brien.

Be an interesting team selection for Parky on Saturday.

    Deserved win on Saturday.

Cracking goal from Gooch and Baliey Wright was again outstanding.

I wish William Storey would shut the feck up its not going to happen.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

SAFC ground out the win on Saturday but its the three points that is the crucial thing.

I'm happy with nine points from three games.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

Good to see Dan Neil sign a three year contract.

    He is an excellent prospect.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

Big mistake not paying the Blackpool match.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

SAFC really need to get the three points tomorrow at Gillingham after the last two disappointing results.

Parkinson should bring Aiden O'Brien and Dan Neill into the team.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

Good win Saturday even if we did leave it late.

    Huge game against Ipswich tomorrow.

Classic game of two halves last night Sunderland dominant in the first Fleetwood better in the second.

But some encouraging performances from Macfazean Embledon Diamond and Younger (till he got injured) all did well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,213 ✭✭✭Kingdom Bhoy

That was painful to watch on Saturday.

Another opportunity spurned Sunderland could have gone second or third with a win today.

I wasn't a Parkinson out man but I'm starting to have severe doubts about him now.

Parkinson and the club have parted company this evening.

    Who is next?
