    Seems a body was found in a burned out caravan near Crecora Avenue in Weston tonight. No link to the murder the other day though.

    BODY FOUND IN BURNT OUT CARAVAN IN LIMERICK
    10 December 2009
    A body has been found in the remains of a burnt out caravan in Limerick City.
    Emergency services were alerted to the caravan fire at the back of a house in Crecora Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston around ten to eight this evening.
    The body - believed to be that of a man in his fifties - remains at the scene which will be preserved for technical examination.
    A garda inquiry is underway.

    The guy is a bit of a mis fortune. He was a harmless nuisance so to speak

    He was way too fond of the drink and no doubt this had something to do with the fire id say. Bad way to go.

    Nasty way to go. I hope the smoke had killed him in his sleep before the flames got to him.

    Was he the lad that would totter through Ballinacurra gardens and then out to the shopping centre along Ballinacurra road when drunk? Always chatting to an invisible person.

    Have seen that guy literally hundreds of times over the years when I would be coming in towards towm.

    nope dont think that is him.

    He is uncle to a few very famous 'gansters' in limerick though!
