Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi.

I wanted an iphone but not the phone - ipod touch but not the mp3 player etc.... well I would love them but dont need them for the price they are at and the fact I have a grand phone and ipod already.

So the main reason I originally wanted either of those two devices was for taking notes.

Is there any digital notepad that is small - I am talking pocketsize Ipod touch size-esque and relatively cheap around 100 euro ish.

Any recomendations - if it could hold pdf, html, ebooks and any other things like that that would be great but I am not really holding my breath just for the original product.

    Thanks in advance.

You're probably looking for a Personal Digital Assistant, they were pretty big until the smartphones hit. Palm were the market leaders, you can probably still pick up a Palm TX in one or two stores, relatively cheap. Should do everything you're looking for.

The only point worth making is you mention taking notes. You can certainly write notes, either in your hand writing or on the onscreen keyboard. However, the Palms didn't have a mic, so if you want to record your voice, you'll probably be looking for something like the HP IPaq
