Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Internet conexion problem - Cannot communicate with DSN Server

    Hi all,
I'm having a problem to connect to the Internet for the last 10 days or so. Since then, my conexion is droping off every few minutes. It doesn't matter if I re-start my PC or not, the conexion to the Internet will be back on automatically only to drop off again after a few minutes and so on.

When I run a problem diagnose on the Internet Explorer I get the following message: "Cannot Communicate with DSN Server. The problem cannot be repaired automatically. Contact your system administrator"

When I check the conexion status, it says that the PC is connected to the network and the signal is excellent. Still I can't browse the net.
Something I've noticed on the Connections tab on the Internet Properties is that it says IPv6 Connectivity: Limited. Not sure if this might be having an effect? IPv4 Connectivity is fine.

I have a wireless conexion through a Linksys router and I run Windows Vista on my PC. I'll be upgrading to Windows 7 in a couple of weeks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm far from being a Networking expert.

    Regards,
    Phil
