I'm looking to get a wetsuit as a present for a guy, size medium, anywhere in Dublin city centre or southside dublin.
was hoping to get a pretty good suit, o'neill, ripcurl etc for a decent price, maybe around €150.
Am i better off buying in dublin - surfdock etc? or maybe online? I saw a site called wetsuitoutlet.co.uk..
Any suggestions or if you've heard places having sales please let me know!
    Thanks.

Surfdock is a good place to start. I think Circle One wetsuits are in there for about 150 for a 5/3 winter suit.

If he is a serious surfer and goes surfing alot during winter i'd get something above the circle one suit,.. They're fine if you are starting off but if you are a regular surfer then i'd be looking at something else.

The link you showed, seems like an average rip curl. Its up to you how much you want to spend. I always get mine online. The proper winter wetsuits, with the zipless entry can cost up to 380 euro. I get mine off an ebay store in the states and my recent one was 190 euro (Quiksilver Cypher 5/4) as oppossed to 270 in shops here and about 240 on other websites. His ebay store only stocks quiksilver suits but they are probably the most affordable of the zipless entry winter wetsuits. In my opinion they are the only suits for the long cold winter. They are so so warm, its like sitting in your living room out back.

Heres the suit i had last year http://cgi.ebay.com/QUIKSILVER-IGNITE-5-4-Hooded-Wetsuits-most-sizes_W0QQitemZ360183269006QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Men_s_Athletic_Apparel?hash=item53dc98868e
Would cost about the same as the rip curl but far better. This years quiksilver is a bit more expensive but he did us a deal on two and it ended up being 190euro.

Anothe thing to be sure of is his size. Its a very personal thing, wetsuits gotta fit well, not too tight, not too loose. If you know his measurements and look at the size chart they are extrmely accurate.

How much does that guy charge for shipping, sounds like a great deal.

They both look like good suits. Xcel are without doubt the best winter suits you can buy. They can be expensive with their top winter suit costing 360 euro approx.

Its up to you, the two suits are fine but if he wants the best winter wetsuits they would be a bit too pricey. Kingofwatersports are a real good website, alot of people use them. They do vouchers also so you could maybe put in the price for one of these suits and he could add the rest himself and he would have a really good suit. As i say, te two you showed me are fine suits, its just after you use the proper winter ones there's no turing back so i might be a bit biased.
