Need to get some fab skinny jeans, anyone know anywhere that has nice ones atm? Saw some decent pairs in River Island a few weeks ago but I read on here that they stretch after one wear? =/

boomkatalog I have gotten lovely skinny jeans in Next, Vero Moda, my friend swears by Penneys ones, but I just recently got a lovely pair of Ichi ones, there's no point really telling you where I got them as it's just a shop local to me, but if you could find other shops that stock that brand they might be worth a look. It's my second paid from that brand in 3 years and the first pair are still in perfect condition.

The Jamie ones in Topshop are lovely...but then they stretch :/

I bought some French Connection ones a few weeks ago. Quite pricey but they are PERFECT! Great fit and don't stretch. It's trial and error really, depends on your own body shape :)

I got brilliant ones in Forever 21 - not sure how many wears you'd get out of them before stretching tho, definitely more than one - I rarely wear them more than twice without washing - but wore them twice over the weekend while I was away and they looked perfect still end of second day. Sure anyway for 25 euro you can't really go wrong.

Found these gloves while cleaning out my room. I don't think I've ever found anything this amazing and I doubt I ever will again. Roll on A/W '11.

I have a pair like these, except they have witches and scarecrows, sort of Wizard of Oz themed... maybe a late 80s/90s think for finger puppet gloves? I loved them! They don't fit anymore :(

I had that exact same glove when I was younger. I think somewhere around the early 90s. Gawd the memories.

Does anyone know what the blowfish shoe sizes are like? Do they run true to size or anything? I tried on what I thought was a 5 yesterday but it's gone today. I tried a 4 on with tights and it seemed ok.

They are 44e in the office sale and I need them in my life. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

So may I ask all your advice here? Now that these are on the way, what could they be teamed up with? I kinda like what this lady has done. I was thinking a skirt with a slit and perhaps a woolen blazer? Maybe some sort of past the knee dress with a slit?

She already has skinny jeans so I'd like to get her something a little more upmarket to wear with the boots. Something stylish and sophisticated a little.

Great boots where did you pick them up?and she like them?

Well I just bought this for my new phone

    Kate Moss got married.

I like the top of her dress, not keen on the bottom/skirt of it though.

I loved all of the dress, especially the veil.

I'm not sure how I felt about the blue dress, I hate the boots. Not keen on the shade of blue, but I love the bohemian feel to it, which is so much a part of her own style.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,281 ✭✭✭Valentina

Wow. That blue dress is horrendous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,095 ✭✭✭LadyMayBelle

I think she looked fantastic; the dress is beautiful and even tho I am not a massive veil person it's really elegant.
Blue dress..oh no. It's like something from the shop that used to be in Galway called 'Dopey Doras'...middle aged women getting in touch with their airy fairy side..blues are even worse. I don't think that colour suits Kate at all..

  • Registered Users Posts: 63 ✭✭Exuberant

I think her wedding dress is gorgeous! So elegant :) I love how all the flower girls have white dresses as well, and how there are so many of them! It looks great! Also love their hair pieces, the crown of leaves!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,005 ✭✭✭✭Toto Wolfcastle

I love her wedding dress. It's such a hard style to pull off too and she looks fantastic. I hate veils but her one has made me consider the possibility of having one.

    The blue dress is vile.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,159 ✭✭✭✭phasers

Oh her dress is gorgeous! I normally hate veils but that one's really beautiful.

Is that her daughter in the first pic? She's so pretty.

I don't like Charlene's dress. The shape is nice but I don't like the details on it. Looking at the photographs of the church ceremony they didn't really look too happy. She's gorgeous but she really needed to smile a bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,954 ✭✭✭✭Larianne

Didn't like Kate's dress at all. I didn't feel it did her figure any favours and the bottom of it looked like it had been dragged through a field. I love the 1920's style head-dress though. I'm not really a fan of Kate Moss any way. Her bridesmaids were all so cute!

Wow, Princess Charlene doesn't exactly have that beaming look brides usual do on their wedding day, eh? Dress is okay. I like her hair. It's quite similar to how Grace Kelly wore her hair back in the 50's.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,225 ✭✭✭fillefatale

Charlene's dress is alright, I really don't like the collar/straps style, or the detailing on the bust. Not a big fan.

Kate had so many bridesmaids! Who did the kids all belong to?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 740 ✭✭✭Sibylla

Charlene Wittstock looks like a very unhappy bride. I didn't even notice the dress...........When they kissed yesterday he had his eyes open and she was literally cringing. I thought the rumours that she had tried to run away were nonsense but seeing them today I think it must be true. Such a difference compared to how happy William and Kate looked. I expected more from Armani the dress did not compliment her swimmers shoulders. The comparisons to Grace Kelly can't be easy. Grace was a one off, the most classy elegant woman in hollywood. It must be impossible to compete.

    Charlene-Wittstock-vs.-Grace-Kelly.jpg

Kate Moss looked effortlessly chic as always.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,150 ✭✭✭✭Malari

Kate Moss looks beautiful I think. She's just on the right side of "hippy" without looking "dippy" :D I wonder were all the kids a 2 for 1 deal - buy the dreses, get the kids free ;)

As for the blue dress, I can only assume it was a gift from a designer friend which she felt she couldn't refuse to wear. It's too authentically 70s, especially with those boots! I think I've seen pictures of my mom in similar!

I think Charlene looks like a regular bride - nothing special. Those rumours though appear to be the surface of a troubled relationship. The prince has apparently had a string of affairs and fathered two children by different women, which he only admitted to after the results of paternity testing. She's not well-liked in Monaco at all by people who think the prince should have chosen a Monagasque.

Not always happily ever after when you marry a prince :(

Great boots where did you pick them up?and she like them?

I got them from eBay. When they were out in the shop last year I didn't like them but they've grown on me over time. The seller is based in the UK and didn't want to ship them outside of the UK so I had to get them posted to my sister. They should hopefully arrive this week.

Most of her skirts are leather so before I give them to her I'd like to buy her a skirt made from some other material. I was thinking something along the lines of a dark pinstripe pencil skirt with a slit. Something along the lines of the below:

I really like Kate's dress. But Charlene's, I think it's awful. So plain and and old fashioned looking. Not vintage, just old! It actually kind of reminds me of my aunty's wedding dress, but she got married in 1994!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,207 ✭✭✭Ally7

I really like Kate's dress, it's quite unusual but she really pulls it off! Does anyone else think her skin doesn't look great in the photos? It's just seems really dull and lacking colour.

I went to Sephora today! Why Twee WHY?! Didn't buy anything, but have made a list. Definitely going to get the Urban Decay Naked Pallet and some brushes. Gonna get one of the sales advisors to help me with a red lipstick as well. Gingers need red too! Also I think I found a good dupe for Nars Orgasm lipgloss. Will have to investigate further.

To be fair I think this is just her demeanour, not sure if I would attribute it entirely to wedding woes. I met her briefly when they were over for the State visit a couple of months ago and she was exactly the same - not a smiley person at all.

I like the neckline of her dress, but the rest of it is a bit... meh.

    Wonder if it is true?

She looks uncomfortable in this photo, or maybe it is just me.

If it is true, then I personally don't blame her for trying to flee.

Oh, Sephora is so good! When I was in NY I found it impossible to ever walk past one! Thank god there is no Sephora over here because I would be broke, that's all I'm sayin'.

You having a good time? (:

I have to say I really liked the look of it. There's a lot of shades I will get good use out of, specifically the bronze and pink ones. Also some nice matte shades too, which are always good to have as bases or for a subtle smoky eye.

Gonna go to the MAc Pro store this week too maybe, that will be exciting!
