Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How old is your PC, what operating system are you using? What version of MS Office are you using?

Do you know how to View Event Logs? (Start=) Settings=) Control Panel=) Administrative Tools Computer Managament=) Event Viewer if you are using Windows XP). This may give an indication of what actually happened, Check out applications/ system/ Security logs just to see what happened.

There are a number of reason the program shut down, just trying to narrow things down :D

It really could be a number of things but it prob is not a virus.
    Try this first
On the Help menu in any Office program, click Detect and Repair.
It that fails it may be easier and quicker to simply reinstall.
    Good luck

Go into Event viewer and see the error message.

Click Start, and then click Control Panel, then click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.

    Check system log for errors

"The system log contains events logged by Windows XP system components. For example, if a driver fails to load during startup, an event is recorded in the system log. Windows XP predetermines the events that are logged by system components. "
