Seabourne View oven smell

Recently when I have returned to my apartment, there has been a terrible oven smell in the apartment. We don't use our oven enough for it to be ours, but my partner cleaned it out anyway. The smell hung around. Just wondering if anybody has any idea what could be causing it? Are the extractor fans from other apartments…

Just wondering if anybody has any idea what could be causing it? Are the extractor fans from other apartments connected up to ours? Would it be possible that the smell is coming from the vent in our sitting room? It really stinks and is quite off putting.
