Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is this TV Mpeg 4 compatible?

    Its not the TV that needs to be compatible but more the dvd player, computer etc that your going to be using with it.


    also that is a nice tv but there are better than that. :cool:

    Thanks for the reply. I think I've got my terms mixed up. By Mpeg4 I meant whether the TV is compatible with getting the new (not out yet) digital TV service that we'll eventually be using. I think the decision was made to go with Mpeg4 but I could easily be wrong and I just didn't want to get a TV that, in a year or two, will need an extra box to get TV.

    Maybe it's Mpeg2, not sure.

    That's still a debatable question.
    While RTE are continuing to "Strive for full digital integration" it has nor been made public what the full spec's are for the RTE MPEG-4 video broadcast system.
    An MPEG4 tuner will help but more than likely you might have to use another "box" to receive the signal.

    That TV does receive the RTE digital tests. It is MPEG4, like nearly all Samsung B-models.
