One of the bugbears about the new motorways is the lack of emergency phones (as well as MSAs!). Post information in this thread about motorway phones and where they are currently. The rollout is continuing. As of 11/12/2009. M4 and M6 from Lucan to Athlone East - SOS phones every 2km approximately. Thats all I have for…

I was wondering what the orange sticks were at the side of the M6 were. They didn't seem to match a strict 2km gap though when I tried testing the distance at one stage.
