thats a mouthfull..

as it says, it must be USB powered, ie no external power supply needed.

anyone know what even a good price for one of these is, or any bargains you've seen recently?

Both of these models are not the newest model but still very good. (still I kind of like the older design better)

Don't know where you're based but Reads on Nassau Street in Dublin had great value in external hard drives when I was in there on Sunday.

They had Seagate 1 TB drives for around 79 euro ... honestly not sure if they were USB powered or not though.

i have one of them already, and its not usb powered, but thanks anyway!
