Can anyone venture an educated guess as to the total hourly rake for an average full ring live 1/2 game with and without a €20 cap assuming 4% rake?

    €100 maybe?

Depends how tight the game is, but €100 sounds like an average amount in a loose game of Hold'em.
    Very expensive huh?

Not too dear for a live full ring considering wages and overhead plus booze. cant remember which cardroom but there was also free smokes. was just curious, thanks.

Try 7% capped at €25. I think 4% capped at €20 is ok or 5% capped at €15

Try 7% capped at €25.

Thats a harsh level of rake for a 1/2 game.

Why do dealers take the rake from the pot at each point during the game, ie flop, turn and river. Wouldn't it be far easier for them to take it right at the end before they pass the pot to the winner?

Then the player sees €25 being taken from (what is now) their money!

Easier by far. But considerably less discrete.

work out how much your getting raked in €150 plus pots next time with no cap. will be shocked if under 7% regardless of advertised rake rate.
