List of Mammal and Bird Species of Ireland

Hi folks,

I've done a quick search of the forum, but couldn't find what I'm looking for.

Basically, I'm after a list of all the mammal and bird species found in Ireland. I've tried several sources already, but they frequently differ, and cross referencing the different lists is very time consuming.

Can anyone point me to a site that has such a list? Or maybe they have a list themselves that could be posted here? Thanks in advance for any help. It would be greatly appreciated!

Have Googled plenty thanks, and both those lists are ones I have seen. But both have discrepancies when compared to other lists.

There must be an official definitive list out there somewhere?

Is the species list under "Browse Species" of use? Some species appear twice so you'll have to filter out yourself. English name if you click the latin.
