    Hi,

Ive been playing full time for the last 18 months, put in 1 million hands and profited $70k inc. rakeback. I would classify myself as a low limit grinder but have real ambition to push through the levels.Ive played 600k hands of 100nl 6max at 3BB, 300k of 200nl at 1BB and my current choice of 100nl HU where Ive played 100k hands at 6BB.

Im looking to help some people out who have real ambition and also gain some peers who are at a similar level.

    Feel free to pm

    Thanks

    Dave

Only 1 million hands, sure you'd do that in a month.

Lol, the sick thing is someone attempted to do that this month. I reckon it will be done next year- I just realised you probably know this?

Ive gotten a lot of pms from people whove played what i would consider an insignificant amount of poker and are more than likely not good.

Im going to post a reply I sent to someone.None of it is groundbreaking to the online community. Most peoples attitude to poker is what holds them back

The vast majority of people playing poker are dellusional about their skill level. People underestimate the importance of br managment and tilt which is especially huge. Imagine playing solid poker for 1000 hands, winning at 5BB/100 hands which is 100 dollars at 50c/$1 blinds and taking a bad beat and then tilting off 1 buy in, back to square one

Unless you have played 100,000 hands of poker you really dont know how good you are.

It could probably be even greater, a 100,000 hand breakeven stretch is very likely over a million hand period.

As regards live poker - playing 1/2 in casinos is not going to be hugely profitable, the rake is huge, even if they just took what they were supposed to, ordering drinks/food adds up,tipping etc. It also 9 handed and slow. You might play 100 hands a night, the variance added to your self delusion can easily fool you into believing youre good, Ive been there.

Wow, didnt really mean for it to come across that way.

Poker is not easy, same with everything in life I guess, but we need to realise the harsh realities and not have any deluded notions to progress. Anyone who has a good wr over 100k hands doesnt need my help so no Im not looking for that. This was just a good way of getting out the general advice that I wanted to give a lot of people as there first big lesson and what is I feel the biggest hinderence to success

Again sorry if I offended anyone

LOL. I don't think I've ever seen that guy post before. Hardly indicative of the forum.

Im pretty useless. actually ive been told im a really good player, by the ones im playing with. my idea of winning in a casino is to drink as much as possible to beat the rake. if they have sandwiches im guaranteed a good night. i believe i have the potential to one day win. i need someone to fix my one leak whatever that may be. i think if i play more tables i might not let the hunger affect me. i understand your point about destroying a 5bb winrate in one hand over a thousand sample. i was going to try to sell myself but the karate kid was a fairly useless little **** as well until he painted that guys fence.

Ha Hellojellyfish i mean really what a loser honestly just another idiot who likes to think they know about poker, but more than likely a losing player i like budbundys approach honest straight up and to the point.
I bet Hellojellyfish is a casino donk who has walked out of a club with a grand a few times and thinks he's a God and also thinks online is a fix.
Don't bother commenting on a thread you dont understand Hellojellyfish because BudBundy is talking about poker not gambling.

Fair play to BudBundy, a little dose of reality is no harm at all......just don't expect to get thanked for it :).
Would love to receive some coaching myself but again couldn't offer a whole heap to the collective. Wish it were different.
