Roof repair in Cork ?

A friend of mine in who is 2 miles from Cork city has a leak in her roof. The leak is visible in the attic on what she says is like a 225mm deep timber under the roof valey at the back of the house. She got a quote for €2,300 + vat from some guy in the yellow pages who seemed to think straight away that replacing the lead…

She got a quote for €2,300 + vat from some guy in the yellow pages who seemed to think straight away that replacing the lead in the entire valley would solve it as he couldnt see any other faults. Hard for her to know without actually being up on the roof so is sort suspicious all the same.

Anyone know any reputable contractor or company who they have used in Cork before that could look at it. The house is a semi detached, built in last few years but builder is gone bust quiet some time ago now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
