We are looking to get a panel (NOT a full door) cut in the wall to access the space under the stairs. Any ideas on prices?

Has anyone even had a door put under the stairs, and can give me a rough quote/price they paid? Looking to get this done now that the holiday season is over.

im guessing its a stud wall
a chippie should be able to do that for ya in a few hours
80 euro max for the labour should do it for ya

most houses have access to their space under the stairs
good spot for the hoover, runners and bits and bobs

Well we had the foreman in to check out the wall. Unfortunately, on the otherside of the plaster board is a concrete wall. Which is needed to support the weight of the stairs. That said, is it still possible to put in an access panel? As the foreman said he couldnt do it, or is he just not willing to commit the time and effort to it? Any suggestions?

if the foreman who has seen it reckons it cant be done ..and it is in fact taking the weight of the stairs
    id leave it be
it must be a big heavy stairs
