Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Excellent. Anybody who's spent anytime in Shannon knows there's nothing to do there except gowlin.

I do satirical raps myself as well. Check the signature.

    Decent effort to be fair.

    What year is this from???

I'm guessing it's new, but they're talking about what it was like being a kid growing up in Shannon hence the pound notes and stuff.

Shot 2-3 weeks ago. More was to be done but time wasn't on my friend's side to shoot more footage for it.

    E.N.N.I.S.

id love this to be done! From my youth, it would have to mention

    the R.A.Y. discos
    the rocky
    Dillengers
    The Banner
sweet shop (gone now, but used to be across from dunnes entrance)
Meehans, 10p for a fag and a free light
    chicken empire
    teach de burgo

i hear the rocky is still going strong!

Sweet Dreams? I used to go there when I was in playschool. I was very sad to see it go.

What was the name of the sweetshop outside of The Boys National? There was an old person running it out of a converted house.

Oodles would have to be mentioned for chips.

I might do an Ennis rap eventually. Writing these things is tricky though. It'd be hard to do a video if you were purely mentioning places that weren't around anymore as well!

That's terrific. There should be one for every town in Ireland.

I particularly liked the line about the four-year-old lollipop, OP. Lovely delivery.
