Is World War Hulk out in a graphic novel format? Seems to be a fair few crossovers into various comics, but I'm long past the days of rooting around looking for 60 or so comics to get the whole arc.

Yeah it was in War Journal. He had some washed up supervillian working tech for him for a while. Suit fell apart at the end of the issue

Are we meant to be taking in all the character traits of the fighters or just assuming that X has to kill Y and who would win? I may have to consider some of my past choices if that's the case... likes of Superman, nearly never goes all-out and it's going to have a major bearing when it gets down to villains vs heroes etc.

Supes never goes all out (cept against doomsday, darkseid and zod) and yet still wins. Everytime.

He does enough to put whoever it is DOWN

Ah yes, but he doesn't tend to finish anybody, fights it all the way... but I was just using him as an example really.

Ooh, Doomsday, that'd be pretty damn interesting if he was in the villain mix... if we're talking endurance he's pretty much going to have nearly anyone's number.

I have that issue as well. During World War Hulk he was working with a washed up supervillian who helped him modify stolen S.H.IE.L.D. tech. One of those was a synthetic symbiote battlesuit.
