Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So, i can get the sony HT-ss100 in a sony center for 479, inc stands ( Republic of Ireland), or i can get the HT-sf100 on pixmania for 489.

the sf100 has nicer shaped speakers, but the spec is the same( see here)

I have heard nasty things about pixmania, should anything go wrong, and you need a refund/repair.

based on your experiences with online purchasing/pixmania, would you go with online or a bricks and mortar store that you can walk into and bring a product back?

Given that there's actually a price advantage, I think you've answered your own question there :) . I've never dealt with Pixmania but have read frustrating accounts of trying to deal with them when all is not well, so in these circumstances I'd probably opt for the local choice. If the speakers being on stands would be desireable for you, you could check whether the local shop can get it for you.
