    Ok, very short and sweet thread. May it fall fairly rapidly down the annals of history.

    But I just want to say, the lights of Thurles are absolutely gorgeous. They have excelled themselves this year.

    The lights in Thurles have to be good after the utter half assed mess they made of them several years ago. One string of lights with half of them not working around the square and that was it, was a really depressing sight. Since then they've got the businesses in the town involved and made sure that there's a good light display not just in the square but along all the main streets in the town. They've been building it up for the last number of years, buying more lights each year so they should have a great selection of them now.
