I wonder if any of you have had a dream like this??

It could be me in any scenario, walking down the street or playing football or in a crowded room, always in public anyway
but I tend to lose the power in my legs, I'm trying to walk and my knees keep going from under me and all I feel is a tremendous sense of embarassment

I'd say I've had 10 of these over the last 5 years...

During REM, your body is paralysed to prevent you carrying out what you are dreaming. Maybe if you become aware of the paralysis, through partly waking, your dreams might be affected.

    Just a guess.
