Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ben Hibbs: Welbeck rumoured to start, Fergie says Anderson "has a face on him like a bag of tripe" when he's not selected.

Why? Its very likely to be the least interesting game of the night, surely only one result and thats United by a comfortable margin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,680 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Welbeck needs to get the finger out, we know he is a great talent just hasnt shown it so far this season for me anyway

That's much more exciting to watch than a stalemate. And by that i don't mean a draw, i mean both teams refusing to play

Just because you know the result of something, it doesn't mean that you can't enjoy it. Did you watch the film Michael Collins? Did you enjoy it? Course you did! It was a great film. Same with Titanic, if you're a girl.

i'm genuinely surprised there's no Berba.

it's pointless trying to predict one of his lineups at this stage.

    de laet

Just listened to McCarthys pre match. Yous will be glad to know he's not attempting their Barca style silky football at Old Trafford "'cause they'll get done".

Very poor form Eire-Dearg, esp on a night with the fantasy football deadline at 7.30.

Wish there was a thumbs down I could have given that post

    From BBC:
1915: BREAKING NEWS BBC 5 live report that Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has made 10 changes from the team that beat Spurs for the game at Old Trafford. I have no words...

    Strange if true.

    come on Rooney score 4

    please................

Makes sense from McCarthy's point of view IMO, they're very little chance of them beating United away with his strongest team so he may as well rest some players with a much more winnable game against Burnley at home at the weekend.

    EDIT;

I'm a Rover by the way, but we have been playing well of late, and so have the brummies with four wins on the bounce so its a good game.

    €50 on Gibson anytime @ 4/1

Wolves played out their skins on Saturday, Micks got a lot of youngsters who can be sacrificed.

Wolves: Hahnemann, Zubar, Mancienne, Elokobi, Hill, Halford, Foley, Castillo, Friend, Surman, Maierhofer. Subs: Hennessey, Henry, Ebanks-Blake, Jones, Berra, Jarvis, Iwelumo.

I dont agree. You play your strongest team available. Villa won ther at the weekend no reason why Wolves cant get something from Old Trafford.

Wolves coming to Old Trafford and thinking of getting something? I'd be fairly sceptical.
