Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, Just wondering of anyone can recommend a good all in one travel & health insurance package for a 6 month trip through S.America. I will be traveling with a laptop and camera worth about 5k so I need a plan to suit. Any advice much appreciated,

Google Travel Nomads, they are recommended by lonely planet. I recently took out a policy and was able to insure my laptop and any single items for up to e500 which is handy. Google for a 10% discount code also. Happy travelling.

I used Ace insurance, didnt have to make a claim so cant comment on how good they are, good options for backpackers

I also used Ace. The policy seemed excellent, particularly for "activities" but like the poster above, I didn't have to make any claims.

Nomads does get good reviews but is quite expensive.
