    so is this a tradition amongst those living close to the coast??

    and for the rest of ye, will ye be hitting the waves over the break?

    I usually drive about an hour to a break in Kerry for a surf xmas morning and again stephens day....love surfing during the christmas if there is swell that is :D

    Yes and yes. I have a week and a half off, it will be awesome, I'm going to make up for the laziness of the last few months. Roll on winter :)

    always do a swim on christmas morning with a hot whiskey afterwards. may get a surf after on stephens day.

    tradition the last 2 years running!
    Went for a early morning surf last year then came out whipped off the suit and back in with the christmas day swim folks. :cool: I was fairly cold after that!
