Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting stuff delivered from the Net

    Hi all,

Just a really quick question: Do any of you guys have a problem with getting internet deliveries to your house? I buy quite a bit off the net and because I'm not home during the day - any item that's too big to fit through the letter box ends up in the post office. And since the post office is only open during office hours it creates a major pain in the a$$ for me to go collect the item.

I have a idea at patent stage for a relatively cheap product to overcome the problem, but I'm interested to see if there is a genuine problem or if there are alternatives people are using.

Thanks a mill for your time!

    Thanks guys,

Unfortunately I can't really divulge too much info, it's at the final stage of Patent so I'm not actually legally able to advertise it. But I can tell you that it will negate the need for an escrow service and it will allow secure delivery in the absense of the home owner.

Thanks a mill for taking your time to reply - hopefully you'll hear more about my product in the not too distant future!

Stick a larger mailbox outside your house. That will solve the problem. the problem you will always have is a) nobody there to sign for the goods b) no secure storage for the goods.

This isn't a market research forum OP.

Please email our Community Managers at hello@boards.ie if you wish to discuss an opportunity to carry out some research here on an upcoming product.

    Thanks.
