    I didn't see a thread on this here, so feel free to merge etc.,

    Anyway, based on failure rates among vehicles ten years or older, seems that these will now be subject to annual testing. Can't argue with that logic, I guess, but fifty quid a pop seems like a cash cow at this stage, particularly when people can't afford to change up.

    ABS/traction control warning lights are now a failure item too-again seems logical enough I guess.

    But the real good news is that goon exhausts, and "heavily" tinted side windows are also enough to fail a vehicle! HALLE-BLOODY-LUJAH!

    Maybe now people in urban areas will get a nights kip.

    As an aside, seems NCTS are now gone, as a Spanish firm has gotten the contract to test vehicles...
