lol, I was too shocked at the 0C inland to notice, they must have been too....

ECMWF have been predicting those temps for tomorrow for the last 4 or 5 days. Great to see that they might actually happen in the short term! :D

    Oh for gods sake:mad:!

But the predicted night time temp has dropped to below zero, so if there is any precip overnight, it may be snow that sticks around ?

I think this is actually funny.... Tomorrow we have to snow the school vodafone style for the kiddies with Santa coming etc etc... But we just realised the " snow" wont foam if its too cold.... As much as I sooooo want it to snow for real we in a mega mega pickle here ... ( But I still think its funny)

Watching Francis Wilson on Sky News.

Lucky bunch potentially geting all that snow!

Look at the warehouse full of salt!! 9,000 tons of salt in Surrey alone for spreading on roads. Wonder how much salt is available in Ireland for spreading operations?

Lovely crisp clear night here in West Limerick.

There is no doubt there is a great chance of a dump of snow at some stage next week, even 850hpa temps become slighly less relevant due to the inbuilt cold air.

But things will change drastically with every run with the movement of those various low centres unknown.
