    Temps falling across the country still. Gurteen down to -5 :eek:.

    -2.8c here on the Central Plain but slow fall seems to have stopped for the moment:

    - 3c in Dromahair this morning! Hard frost :) You can bet it was a slow drive in this morning :D

    Sligo town centre is around 1c at the moment. Have to go to Enniskillen this afternoon, there was some mention yesterday that, that end of the country could see snow by late afternoon, anyone any ideas about that this morning?

    This could be the case - by what they are saying on met eireann the widespread snow is to come Monday/Tuesday..:D Wow i'm getting to be an expert on this weather lark!

    Pleasently surprised shower activity still going in Irish sea

    Currently snowing very lightly here.

    Model output this morning has us in really cold until 24th of December, after that models diverge on the outcome.

    this snow event on saturday evening looks more like a northern part of the country event. is it likely to spread south at all per the charts?

    we can but hope. met eireann seem to be saying a more widespread even this weekend. i nearly prefer it when they are negative!

    yeah well done...looking at the radar on www.raintoday.co.uk and thought there should be some snow down there. hope it spread to maquiladora!
