Whats it like there now SC? I have to drive from Bray to Roundwood in about 20 minutes. Might work from home tomorrow....!

Sorry mate, just spotted this now, its all melted now except in the ditches.
No doubt we will have a covering by morning, at least i'd be surprised if not.
Its snowing lightly out now but ground is too warm to settle for the moment.

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

Should be great for a spin up the Wicklow mountains tomorrow, I'd say anywhere above 350 metres or so now has settled snow.

Met Éireann HIRLAM showing only coastal showers in the east this evening. I think it's underplaying it by a good bit, they'll make it a bit farther inland

Latest UKMO is excellent for snow. Keeps us very cold up till Wednesday at least and sets up an Easterly wind again after the Northerly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,634 ✭✭✭✭Graces7

Blue Stacks; Donegal. There was something falling way over towards Glenties before dark; looked too grainy for rain.

The birds have not been out to feed today in any numbers; usually we have a host of wee ones. So quiet today.
