Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Your 16 favourites of 2009 gathered into a flickr set or pix.ie equivalent. If you want to list it here then DO NOT list all 16 images, you can create a SINGLE image 4x4 mosaic of thumbnails in boards approved format ( < 800 on a side ? ).
The mosaic should link to a flickr set or pix.ie equivalent with all the 16 in it. And it must be 16 and 16 only ! I was going to suggest 9 but that required too many gut wrenching choices to be made ... so 16 it is ....
This is a simple way to do them. Flickr users can just put 16 images into a set, or tag 16 images with something and create it automagically. pix.ie users will have to manually enter the URLs all 16 images. Save it off and resize it as above.

Ah cr*p, someone really good posted before me
Anyhow here's mine as chosen by the great unwashed pix.ie users. I don't know if it counts as its not specifically my favourites, rather what pix.ie says are the best of the photostream for the last year. Anyhow for your consideration;

Mosaic Maker has removed the tile size option so this is just a resized jpg courtesy of Photobucket - my flickr is flickr.com/yvphoto if anyone's interested. I second the resolution to get out & take photos more next year - found it hard to find a full 16 favourites
Some great stuff in this thread, I really should start taking part here so I can learn something & not just be lurking all the time...

great idea for a thread, i love how when all these photos are put together that it becomes almost a portrait of each photographer's personality & style.
i've had my camera for just over a year now, and it's been a year of experimentation and learning! i found that in the last couple of months i've felt like i'm really getting somewhere so most of these are from the latter half of this year.
i'm getting a canon nifty fifty for christmas & can't wait to crack it out!!

I think Neil should be subject to vivisection as he himself requested and the relevent bit sectioned and shared out equally.
