No goals as such-poker wise try and do my best everytime I play and do the donkeywork needed to have a shot. I have a genuine feeling that 2010 is going to be a decent year poker wise.

Pay off all my medium term debt from poker winnings + family holiday to down under this time next year for a mates wedding.

Just have to learn how to win at this stupid game now.

    1) Become a winning player.
    2) Build my Bankroll to >1k (I've $170 now).
    3) Hit the gym (lol, not gonna happen).

I'm just starting up again and I really need to improve my game.

    1. Try cut back on withdrawals this year ( if it wasnt for them id be rolled to play 200nl at this stage, god knows i wouldnt beat it but all the same)

    2. Im starting back at 50Nl in January so i guess id be happy to be a small winner or breakeven 100 nl player this time next year.

    3. Take omaha a bit further. I believe i have a quiet good game at it and can probably beat higher levels at it than Nl.

    4. 20k hands min every month.

    5. Im not really going to make any live poker goals as i tend to mainly use my personal money for these games so whatever happens let it be.

    6. Make a decent attempt to satt into wsop.

    Non poker

    1. To get back to my 18 year old fitness.

    2. To give Gaa one good lash this year as im 24 and have basically wasted myself drinking etc... since 18 and before i know it i will regret not having giving 1 good year committed.

Dont put yourself down or you'll never get any further with your game, you need way more confidence in your game

Here are my hand totals for the year:
    January 27133
    February	31115
    March 52974
    April 75734
    May 43821
    June 43809
    July 39920
    August 16590
    September	37911
    October 68964
    November	48290
    December	22945

    Total: 509k

I spent August in the States and the UK. December I managed to scrape the cornea of my eye and couldn't really play online.

I'm trying to come up with an achievable goal for 2010. One problem i've had before is I set hard targets, then when I realise I'm not going to make them I end up doing nothing for days instead. I'd like to say 60k per month, but I only managed that twice. Maybe 55k, that would mean I play 660k over the year, which would be a nice improvement. Ill decide by year end.

(Still haven't gotten that lego set yet!)

Despite your best efforts to get all the Multitabling TAGs from boards to hit Everest, no not really!

It worsened earlier in the year, at 12 in particular, and hasn't really changed, a whole lot since then. I wouldn't bother playing 12 until 4pm during the week.

Its hard to tell exactly though, I'm a much better player than I was last year, so its tough to know exactly how hard the games are relatively speaking. My win rate is about the same, but now I nearly always 10-12 table, rather than 2-6.

Also my win rate at 12 is the same as my win rate at 50/1, but then I table select at 1/2 and only play in good games, whereas I will sit at any 50/1 table (Although I will move to a better game, but I wont leave to play no where). I'm still surprised by that cause the play is so bad at 50 1.

Ok for 2010 I hope to:

Improve at all forms of texas, especially late stage tournament play.

Get a fairly decent knowledge of omaha.

Take online poker seriously, no killing half an hour at it.

Show decent profit at live 1/2 cash.

Play (qualify) in at least 1 Irish event buyin ~ €500

    Dont play when tired/drunk/tilted.

3 - Cash in any wsop event
4 - Actually play proper poker instead of trying to hit and run every cash game possible
5 - Go on a murder mystery weekend
