Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

oh i get it you meant

    DeRossi(best italian midfielder imo)
    Pepe
Dani Alves(most expensive right back in the world)
Akifeev(the reason russia are doing well and every top club in europe wants him)
Lahm(litterally was running the bayern team)

Rubbish. Stick the Antelope playing off the Deer and the Polar Bear, and move the Parrot and the Tiger inside. Lions and Rhinos are much better as wingbacks.

Why is this relevant? Do you have to include an Italian midfielder and you then went for the best?

Is Lescott the 2nd most expensive defender ever or something like that? Again, his price/nationality is irrelevant.

So what if he's the reason you think Russia are doing well. Doesn't make him the best keeper.

Pepe yea i think he is a solid defender. he has pace. reads the game. always in position and is really good with heading the ball. id def rate him over carvalho

but id also have derossi instead of xavi

NOTE: Russia did not qualify for the World Cup, so saying Akinfeev is the reason they are doing so well (he is not...) isn't a great arguement either.

yes Alves is the most expensive but he was worth his price. class player. derossi has a world cup winners medal. he is one of the best midfielders in europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having a medal doesn't make you the best in your position in the world.

And Alves is not the best RB in the world.

The team you picked has really dodgy selections

well i did say who you would think is a dream deam. who would work well together

as for alcves i do think he is the best right back at the moment. like my arguement for abidal i think he is great going forward and has a good defensive mentality aswell.

seriously who would ye say the best defensive midfielder right now is??? thats why i think DeRossi is the best in europe

Essien for one is way better than De Rossi.

If you rate Abidal that highly then I guess I'd expect you to go with Alves too.

well i did choose Lahm over abidal because i think its close. i prefer the more attacking wing backs rather than just sit and defend full backs in the way maldini use to be. its nothing against evra as i said i think he is a good player. i just dont think he is the best out there

Seriously. Watch some ****ing football. He's one of the most attacking FB's there has been.

He's far better than both Lahm and Abidal. As is Cole but you don't want to pick them for some reason. Im guessing its because of who they play for. Same goes for the likes of Mexes (Vidic/Carvallho) DeRossi (Essien/Xavi/Iniesta) etc etc. Not a Ronaldo fan either - but he's the most expensive player in the world ever!!!!

how do you even rate carvalho among the best in the premiership????????? never mind the world. and xavi is just slow(pace-wise) iniesta is a great player but i wenst for gerrard instead. ronaldo just falls over gives and away posession. mexes is a great center back.

and as for me watching ***king football i prob have seen more football tonight than most here have seen in their lives. unless its a united match football doesnt exist to some people
