me and my partner want to start tryiny for a baby but i have a mitral valve prolape and have been taking medication called bisocor to treat thisfor the last 7years. today i meet my cardiologist and he says this medication cannot be taken during pregnancy. i am now being weaned off and hoping i can manage without it particulary for the first three months of pregnancy as there is a risk of feotal damage.! i am wondering if anyone else has gone through this and how they managed as im findinng it a bit daunting. thanks.
