    hi all my girl friend is spanish and speeks good english,but finds reading a bit tiresome
    she recently read ''the secretlife of bees''
    she loved it totally
    can you recomend a similar book ,maybe which is easyish to read
    thanks

    Not at all, reading for me is purely about enjoyment, doesn't matter what the material is. She might enjoy The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. If you're looking for something easy to read, I'd recommend either The Curious Incident of the dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon or I am David by Anne Holm.

    I myself am non native English speaker. I had little trouble starting to read English books. Also, in most libraries there are simplified books
    to start read in a language.
