There was a light Graupel shower about an hour ago, not much but at least its a start!!

According to the latest radar the band of precipitation has moved south of us now.. majority of it seems to be fallen over Westmeath, Kildare, Offaly(Although I hope Biffo gets none!!! :D) Im sure more bands of showers will follow as the night progresses, Im pinning my best hopes on Sunday & Monday!

Here's hoping the snow gods will smile kindly upon Dundalk this year!!, and the rest of ya's!!! ;)

Well sorry to inform you but Biffo got it as its snowing in his hometown.

However he is getting more snow than we are as he is over at the Copenhagen Climate change summit :D

I'm going to Yorkshire for Christmas,So might see some snow :D

Waiting patiently to see if any snow is gonna' show up in north Kerry!

You should definitely see some snow up there. Winds are turning Northerly which would be favorable for that area. I saw 6 inches last december. Winds from the NW at the weekend might bring a few showers to Kerry. It pours rain all year and when we have cold conditions, no precip. Typical:rolleyes:

Good job he's not here, He'd probably get Lenihan to put a Levy on everyone who gets snow!!! :D

Drizzly grains of snow or hail - like small pellets I think...

Thats probably the stuff in the brief flurry I saw in Dublin 6 yesterday afternoon, not sleet, not hail, kind of like fine gravelly snow, wasn't quite sure what to call it.

Stop snowing here now, it snowed roughly half an hour which gave a very slight covering, it was mostly light snow but i'm happy with that as I wasn't expecting to see any at all. Hopefully I'll see more snow tomorrow:)
