    Woke up this morning to the sight of a rain covered car :( but when I went outside to check the temp and felt my car, the entire thing was frozen solid!
    All the raindrops were hard and lumpy!

    Sligo/Leitrim area

    All clear and green (literally unfortunately) here in east Donegal. Dead calm with not a leaf moving. Lets hope this is a calm before a storm. :cool:

    Its precipitation (rain or snow), the darker the colour the stronger the precipitation.

    Haven't had a chance to look yet but the 06Z GFS will be rolling out in a few mins.

    the snow looks alot heavier!! look at the scottish traffic cams in the north of scotland a place called haslet or something has gained all that snow in just half an hour around 3cm!

    Very good Met Eireann forecast on the website, nice to see them mention that on Christmas Day there will be "a further possibility of wintry showers". :pac:

    after the front passes throught tonight will be interesting...hopes there is a load of showers feeding in which met eireann said should be of snow.

    i have a feeling the band could be quite weak on its western edge.

    We'll see later on anyway, you can see the bank marching south on the latest sat images.

    according to rain today the very very front of the frot has a small bit of rain then after its just snow snow snow for about 4hours goig by that....... and at the amount its dumping in northern scotland we may get 15cm?
