Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New acer laptop keeps asking me to register machine with acer. It doesnt belong to me I am just doing inital setup on it as it is a xmas present for someone on Christmas morning. Does anyone know if there are any reasons why i should not register the machine, i think i can disable the popup window.

Use msconfig to disable the Acer registration prompt, then you can re-enable it when you give the laptop to the owner, I think there are links to register manually on the acer.com site anyways using the serial # so its prob unneccesary
