The thermometer at my house didn't go above -17 today. But compared to the town of Røros about 60 miles away it is really warm: they had the second day in a row with temperatures down to -41 :eek:

It's so cold up here in Donegal that the sea is freezing! Tide has gone out here and it's left the sheet of ice to shatter on the rocks! The sounds it was making were great!



But as RTE say, I'm sure Dublin's getting the worst of it and people having no water up here for over a month is to do with something else...... :rolleyes:

Hey Chorcai, I have one of those lubitels. To focus it, open the waist level viewfinder. Inside there is a little part, kind of like a mini magnifying glass. Its tucked in at the side. Pull it out and then you focus in the middle of that little mini viewfinder, by twisting the bottom ring on the front of the camera. It won't be as sharp with 35mm film through it because the film doesn't really ly fully flat. It does look cool though, when you expose an image right out to the holes
