Good evergreen screening tree???

    Hi,

    Can anyone recommend a good evergreen screening tree that would grow to about 7 or 8 feet, be fairly dense.

    laurus nobilis is evergreen and very dense can be got at most heights

    Bamboo can look really nice and creates lovely sounds in the garden.
    You may have to cut back every few years.
