Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help needed please. I have a dell dimension E520 desktop, the sound has stopped working on it. I can listen to itunes on it, but no sound from youtube videos or no sounds when turning on or off the pc. I have gone into the drivers and they are all up to date

Double-click the volume icon in the system tray and make sure that all volume settings are not muted.

is there a physical device to control sound levels also? You could try a system restore also.

I have seen this problem before. Even if they are up to date I would still recommend downloading the latest version again and reinstalling them.

Thanks for the replies folks. Over the weekend i downloaded chipset and audio drivers and installed them. Still no joy, so did a system restore, even though it took me a few attempts to get it. It is working ok now.

Glad to hear you got the sound back.
I would suggest now that you create a further new restore point for todays date - in case you might have to go looking back to an earlier one again - that might otherwise be removed by windows automatically when the "Restore Points" go over a certain size.
