Could be wrong but I think Met radar image just uses Shannon and Dublin but UKMO one has radar from Belfast too.

warm front passed the north now, colder air should be on the way, along with that bulk of precip

Looks like the fronts dying a death!

Yeah, could be WC. Just looks like a shower here really. There isn't much behind it either according to ME's radar. I don't mind as long as we get a few wintry showers later. Going to get the Christmas movies going!

And to think this looked like a snowfest only a couple of days ago. *snizzle sniffle* Ah well...

I think a few drinks are in order tonight and then dreams of polar lows. :D

yes but they will struggle to make it down here...I have seen this set up 1,000,000 times: snow for the north and west...enjoy your snow owen, you deserve it!

not a bad radio forecast there. she said there likely will be accumulations tonight and over the next couple of days, although it will tend to dry out after sunday, but some showers at times still thereafter. no sign of it getting milder around christmas either.

yes but they are heavy so they should get down inland how much snow should i expect if i they come all night?from say 12am

While most of the snow echos in the North seem to be associated with high ground and therefore static, there does seem to be some snow precip a fair distance behind the rain front gradually descending south south eastwards between Sligo and Enniskillen
