    Yeah its pretty good up here. Hopefully it buckets down over night. Its stop-start at the mo tho.

    The short term high res Met Eireann model for the next 3 hours shows no penetration of those showers beyond Donegal/Mayo/Derry/Antrim. I can't see that changing as we are at the peak of shower activity from that system beyond the Shetland Islands.

    ceratinly some (limited as it is) activity though along then galway coastline, parts of clare and west kerry/ west cork. Any chances I wonder of the precip west of mayo making its way SE into galway, clare and kerry?

    Right all, thats me for the night, off to bed perchance to dream: drifts, snowballs, snowmen and lots of other glorious white things and hope that when i awake in the morn that its all outside waiting on me!! enjoy, fingers still stapled crossed for a white one ;) for you all x

    Meant to say, not a single flake since the 2 minute shower mentioned about an hour and a half ago :(

    Heading to leaba myself. Can't wait to hear the early morning reports. Just a dusting here at the moment but at least it's semi white out. Thanks all for an entertaining and informative day. Sleep well and dream of the white stuff. ( no not cocaine). :)

    hehe, was good fun tobogganing (sp?) in the local park, after freezing tonight it might be lethal tomorrow :D

    Just had a really heavy shower and its looking great outside at the moment, none of it is melting so if we get another few heavy showers it'll be getting really think for the morning
