Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A quick search doesn't seem to yield any results for previous threads on this game, but is anyone else excited about it?

    Its out 8th Jan but have started to get a little worried about the lack of reviews. I think the story, concept and gameplay all sound really encouraging, I guess the only thing negative about it at the moment, in my eyes, is that the graphics look underwhelming.

    Are there any reviews around for it yet?

    Yeah, my #1 game to look forward to in 2010 so far (though Mass Effect 2 is VERY close in #2).

    Not many reviews up as the game is still about a month away, plus xmas in between now and then. Will probably see some in the first week of Janurary. Plus the Play magazine in the USA reviewed it a few weeks ago and gave it 10/10, cant judge if they are a good source or not though.

    Holy crap... Yet another one to look forward to!
    The beginning of next year is going to be absolutely awash with fantastic looking games like this, GoWIII, Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno...

    Yep, this and Bayonetta are guaranteed purchases I think.

    And I loved ME 1 so thats gonna be a given too I reckon.

    True about Play not being a good indicator anymore. To be honest, I find it hard to trust any magazine that gets an early "exclusive" review of any game. With the timing of the release it might be hard to see a good impartial review before the actual release (of Darksiders that is!).... :(

    Gamesmaster(I think) got an exclusive review of Batman Arkham Asylum and they gave it a really high score and that turned out to be a great game so we might be in for a nice surprise again with Darksiders :)

    Doesn't really say much though... Rocksteady weren't exactly a proven development team, so I'd say the publishers could have been afraid that Arkham Asylum would flop and decided to buy a decent score off Gamesmaster (even though it turns out that they didn't need it)

    I'll never trust suspiciously early reviews of games... EVER!
