Was on the drink from one yesterday and ended up in Isaac's for a few more. I had a blue schoolbag containing a Macbook and passport. I need passport badly for Stephen's day but I do know I can get an emergency one come monday.

Not sure if I took bag with me from Isaac's in Store St. I then went to Abrakebabra O'Connell St, beside Ann Summers, then got a taxi either on or near the O'Connell St rank. As you can probably tell I was fairly drunk and have already been to town this morning and checked with the two places mentioned but nothing. My last hope really is taxi and I am vaguely getting a picture of me with the bag getting in...

Hope it's right but I will check with carriage office on Monday.

Anyway if anyone knows any taximen who have found a bag, then please let me know asap. I'm a disaster sometimes.

Did you check with Store St garda station?
Might have been left it there.

Oh I should have said that too, I was in there this morning and nothing, checked the pulse as well but nothing.

    Thanks

    I feel your pain :(

Same thing happened to me last year. Went out for one or two and ended up crawling out of a taxi hours later minus my bag which had money, bills to pay, car registration docs, mp3 player etc in it.

I went to all the places I was at - no luck, cop station - no luck.

    Try the:

    The Carriage Office
    General Office: 01-6669850/1/2/3.
    Property Room/Front counter 01-6669857

I have (not) learned from my mistake

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

I am certain I left it in the taxi now. I stood out to get money from my pockets to pay and then just closed the door leaving the bag on the floor in front of the front passenger seat...

I am going to go to the carriage office now, just waiting around town and then to PP office as I can't take the chance on it being handed in soon, if at all.

If you rang a Taxi company for the cab, just give them a call first. And hopefully they keep some kind of record about which taxi's were sent to which address.

Bang on Mike, I left my wallet in a taxi last weekend, my fault I know.
But it had my business card in it so thought I might get it back.

I got a call saying that the wallet had been found by a lady who said she saw it fall out of a taxi on leeson street. The git took the money out of it and chucked it out the window.

Got it back though so fair play to the lady.

Best of luck with the search OP!
