Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

can anyone advise on whether I should go for Elements 6 or Elements 8 - pros and cons for each? Don't need a particularly advanced package and I'm not interested in movie making but do want something to do photo editing, fixing up, layering, etc. any advice. tks.

    Hi,
I would guess there is very little difference between version 6 and 8 to be honest.
Have you tried Gimp, its free and will do what you want.

I dont know about Elements 6 but if you are buying it you might as well get Elements 8 the most up to date version. I have Elements 7 and I believe from what I read that the main difference between version 7 & 8 is photomerge for HDR. Picasa is also free and very useful for cropping and straightening images, and loads more.
