    Some people really cannot differentiate from Science and Religion/Philosphy. Religion can't replace science and neither can science replace religion. From studying science we can derive the technicalities of our existence and study the characteristics of the world around us. We can study these systems of life and we can study the world around us. Through the study of science we study the creation and from this learn about the creator, through the study of religion/philosphy we study the reason for the creator's creation.
    No. Through the study of science we investigate our origin without assuming that we were created or that there is indeed a creator.

    Philosophy has its place, but philosophy is only good philsophy if it starts from a scientific basis. i.e. to work from the axiom that a creator exists and we were created would be bad philosophy as there is nothing scientific which suggests this.

    You can't investigate the "why" of something for which there is no theory indicating its existence.

    The story of creation is not to explain how the world was created. It describes the reasons for creation.

    Science doesn't tell us why existence exists. It never will as science only studys existence and not from what existence came to be.
