I just heard a Doyle Brunson interview on the 2+2 pokercast http://pokercast.twoplustwo.com/ He spoke briefly about cheating and catching poker cheats-
The jist of what he said is that you gotta look out for something strange or out of the ordinary. You can see it by knowing how a man plays and seeing him make a strange play that he wouldn't usually make.

He was asked about Johnny Moss and the fact that he was a cheat. He said that he wasn't sure how much cheating he did in the early days, but called his later poker life "pathetic".

He also told how usually the cheats were the biggest fish "we'd let 'em cheat a little" just to get the action etc.

It's a savge listen and starts around 35 mins into the pokercast.

    C :)

I had a listen to this last night. I think he meant that Johnny Moss cut a pathetic figure having to be wheeled to poker tables after everything he had done previous (including being ran out of vegas).
