Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We should play with 10 men instead of Silvestre, he's a one man human wrecking ball.

Absolutely no need for him to do it, the bal lwas 20 foot up ffs.

    Great save Al

    ALMUNIA THANK GOD.

    Hull are scary.

Soft penalty. Hull didn't deserve to score from it.

That was such a poor peno, it was clear before he took it what side Almunia was going to dive. Dont talk to me about the follow up:rolleyes:

    Edit: Game, set, match.

Hunt must be the most hated footballer in london now bar Campbell

I think anyone criticising Silvestre there should check the replays - there might have been a brief hand for Silvestre to get his bearings (something all defenders do) but Fagan was blatantly trying to drag Silvestre's hand across his body to win the pen.

Beautifully worked goal though, I'd like to say that should steady Arsenal but with the crowd that worked up, I'm still nervous. They seem to be keeping their heads though so hopefully we'll be okay.

    ha ha Phil Brown :D

Surely that should be a yellow for Fagan for a deliberate handball?

Almunia a mile off his line.
Credit where credit is due though. Poor penalty but he still had to make the save. Was that his first save this season?!!:)

    Question to Arsenal fans:

I don't watch a lot of Arsenal but is Eduardo not a centre forward? How come Arshavin is up top with Eduardo on the wing?

    A mystery to me.

Here's hoping Ramsay can do some of what he does with Wales. This guy is going to become an Arsenal great

In fairness, Eduardo's been poor when played through the centre this season. I know he hasn't always been fit but still. Plus he likes drifting out wide so I think it makes a certain amount of sense. Especially for continuity - Arshavin's been there the last three games whereas Eddie's been on the bench.

Is Theo on the bench? would be nice to bring him on to build up his confidence.

And it looks like Diaby is going to be thrown out onto the wing again. I'm actually starting to feel bad for the guy, everyone thinks he's sh*te but that's because he ends up playing out of position half the time.

    Lol. Arsenal 'snuggies'.

And no, I don't think Theo deserves to come on. He's been terrible lately.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,397 ✭✭✭yahoo_moe

Yup, showed a shot of him in one of those massive sub's jackets earlier. Could be a good game for him, very open.

Song, Denilson and Vermaelen have been really crunching into tackles today, great to see.

I don't think he's ****, he's just not all that great, I think we've seen that by now.

True. I've really enjoyed seeing him as one of the midfield three this year - he can ghost past players so easily in the centre circle and he links up very well in attack (as with the second goal). But yeah, he's muck out wide.

    EDIT: And I've a feeling he's about to score a cracker :)
