The only theory that I can come up with is that the sign was on the wall in the old Belfield Bar (opened August '71) and when it was knocked down and replaced by the Student Bar a.k.a. Student Club (that we know and love) in 1985, the sign was given to/stolen by/found it's way to The Cobblestone.
