Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

….its my Mother In Law incidentally. :p

I’ve been right on the money in the past few years (even if I say so myself).

However the well has run dry.:(

I would usually get her something from BT. Something sophisticated and kinda classy. But this year I just can't think of anything.

Has anyone picked up or seen nice things for Mams, Mother in Laws etc etc etc

BTW, does anyone else feel its hard to get the Christmas juices flowing this year?:(

    Thanks in advance Folks.

A nice set from Creme de la Mer or Jo Malone maybe? Pricey but sounds like what she might be into. Otherwise, a nice scarf, costume jewellery maybe?

Which presents from you has she liked in the past?
The Jo Malone was a good suggestion. I'd be careful with the Creme de la Mer, though...She might think think you were giving a hint about her wrinkles..

She sounds like a stylish lady who enjoys fashion...why not treat her to a personal shopping trip with stylist?! I know of one that comes highly rated by a friend of mine, who does gift vouchers

Or maybe some REALLY nice leather gloves.

    Or a nice brooch?

Perfume, Chanel maybe? Or perhaps a voucher to have her hair done. My mum loves getting her hair done!!

Nice leather gloves I think would be a lovely present.

Have a look in Avoca on Suffolk Street. They have lovely stuff in there this time of the year. (actually all year round).
